Terms of Service
Last updated: June 22, 2026
1. Agreement to terms
By creating an account or using Staffexplorer (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Staffexplorer ("we", "us", "our").
2. Who can use Staffexplorer
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract in your country of residence. By using the Service you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are using the Service for lawful purposes.
3. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@staffexplorer.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions, billing & free trials
Some features are available only with a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes do not apply to the current billing period.
5. AI-generated content
Staffexplorer uses AI to surface opportunities, draft applications, score matches, and generate coaching feedback. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate — you remain solely responsible for what you submit to employers, clients or third parties. Always review and verify before sending.
6. Opportunities & third-party content
Job and gig listings are sourced from public information and partner feeds. We do not employ, endorse, or guarantee any opportunity, employer or client. Your relationship with any opportunity provider is solely between you and them.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) scrape, copy, or resell content; (b) submit fraudulent applications or impersonate others; (c) upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; (d) attempt to interfere with the Service's security; (e) use the Service to send spam or solicit users.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of the CVs, profiles, documents and messages you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display Your Content as needed to operate the Service — including sending it through AI providers strictly to deliver features you request.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and brand, is owned by Staffexplorer and protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted to you except as explicitly stated in these Terms.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others. On termination, your right to access the Service ends; some provisions (payments owed, IP, disclaimers, limitations) survive.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee job placements, income outcomes, or the accuracy of any AI output.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Staffexplorer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100 — whichever is greater.
13. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Staffexplorer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
